ARTIST STATEMENT
My art is a fusion of life and imagination. I take graffiti and morph it with fine art ,combine it with an underlying message. This allows me to reach a wide variety of people. The image relates more to youth, the message to adults. My design pulls them together bringing them to the middle ground to which they relate.
I am about my message. My art is my voice, my protest , agreement, whisper, shout, and cry. "To see my artwork is to see me to understand my artwork is to think about the message it conveys. This is my life"..

BIO
As long as I can remember I've been drawing. My stepfather, who was a draftsman, taught me how to do simple line and block letters. I just took it from there, exaggerating and changing them to create different styles. As long as I can remember I have been inspired by graffiti, street art and hip hop culture.
As I mature spiritually and artistically, I strive to apply not only fine arts composition and principles to my art, but also to find the deeper expression. I use basic graffiti style characters and combine them with a powerful spiritual message, giving anyone who looks at my art something beautiful to look at as well as food for thought.I think this approach allows me to reach a wide variety of people.
Since I had my first exhibit at Cafe Ole in January of 2000 in Trenton, New Jersey. I have been busy doing solo and group exhibits as far reaching as Portland, Pittsburgh, Massachusetts, and Philadelphia. I am currently focused on working in mixed media but I also do commissioned pieces, and freelance graphic and web design work.
