Auras
A Mural Collaboration by Leon Rainbow & Busta Art
Auras is a large-scale public mural by artists Leon Rainbow and Busta Art, created to support mental health awareness and emotional well-being in urban communities. Rooted in mindfulness, balance, and inner peace, the mural transforms a city wall into a visual space for reflection, healing, and connection.
At the center of the mural are two seated figures in meditation, each surrounded by glowing halos of color—symbolizing emotional energy, presence, and the unseen forces that shape our inner lives. Their closed eyes and grounded posture invite viewers to pause, breathe, and reflect, even within the fast pace of the city.
Radiating outward, intricate mandala-inspired patterns and vibrant organic forms create a sense of movement and harmony. These elements reference growth, resilience, and the interconnectedness of individuals within a community. The contrasting warm and cool tones speak to emotional duality—stress and calm, struggle and healing—existing side by side.
Art as a Tool for Healing
For Leon Rainbow and Busta Art, Auras is more than a mural—it’s a public reminder that mental health matters. By placing imagery of calm, mindfulness, and balance in an urban environment, the artists aim to normalize conversations around emotional wellness and encourage moments of self-care in everyday spaces.
Public art has the power to meet people where they are. Whether someone encounters the mural during a difficult moment or a daily routine, Auras offers a quiet invitation to reconnect with oneself and recognize the importance of inner peace.
Community, Color, and Connection
This collaboration blends Leon Rainbow’s signature use of bold color, pattern, and symbolism with Busta Art’s refined portraiture and emotional depth. Together, their styles create a unified visual language that reflects compassion, inclusivity, and hope.
Auras stands as a beacon of calm within the urban landscape—proof that art can be both visually powerful and emotionally supportive.
