As many of you already know, there has been a huge resurgence of the arts here in Monmouth County.  We believe that to truly enrich the community, we must further our development in all veins of the arts.  In addition to all the events that happen throughout the month here in town, we have been working hard to launch “2nd Saturdays” in Long Branch this spring.  Every 2nd Saturday of the month, beginning in May, local artists, businesses, and event venues, will be teaming up and opening their doors, collectively, to the public, to host art, music, poetry, and performance events (not to mention, much, much, more).


To start things off on the right, festive foot, the Long Branch Arts Council has joined forces with our gracious hosts, and arts-council-colleagues at Architectural Accents, to bring you our 2nd Saturdays Kick-Off Party, “ Imagine Long Branch, A Masquerade Ball”, on April 10th, 2010. Join us for a festive evening of art, poetry, live music, fine food, and drink.  The Imagine Long Branch Masquerade Ball is a fundraiser event to support the endeavors of the Long Branch Arts Council.  All funds raised through this event will go to support 2nd Saturdays in Long Branch.  The Long Branch Arts Council is a non-profit organization created to nurture the arts in Long Branch and enrich the cultural life of our community. We hope that all of you will join us for this fun and festive occasion!  Don’t forget, wear a mask!
