We got the call from Dr. Connor to do a special mural project with the graduating 8th-grade class. We were excited, to say the least. We worked with the art teachers and students to come up with a concept. We wanted to show the different things that they teach at the school and wanted to show a timeline that showed that the students start from Kindergarten and graduate at 8th grade. The silhouettes of the students are actual students from the school. We had the students base paint all the patterns and silhouettes and we outlined, highlighted, and tightened up the mural. We added the school slogans “We Are Forever” and “CSA Strong” to inspire future students.
